It is funny how today how popular a Hippie Costume is and time and time again people choose the retro themes when having a party.
I hate to admit it but in the darkest corner of my closet I have clothes from that era that I couldn’t bear to part with much to my teenagers delight. She manages to rummage through the clothes of yester year and wear them today and be seen as trendy.
While I watch my daughter bend down to buckle my old platform shoes I had a flash back to when I last wore them and it was quiet embarrassing as I was racing across a busy zebra crossing wearing a long flowered dress and high cork heels running to catch the lights, I tripped and fell down with the dress blowing over the top of my head. Landing in a very un lady like position, you never saw anyone get up so quickly!
Snapping back to reality, I yell out to my daughter a warning her to be careful wearing the shoes whilst running!
