A 1 Person tent is a good thing to have on the back of your motor bike as times you will be driving for hours at a time not a motel in site and with your tent on the back of your bike you can just erect the tent in moments and you have somewhere safe to sleep for the night at a fraction of the price of a motel.
I must be getting soft in my old age as there was a time when I would just throw a sleeping bag on the ground and sleep under the blanket of the stars. That was until I had a little hairy visitor at night who wanted to share the sleeping bag with me. It wasn’t the type of company that I would normally think or want to share my bed with in the middle of the night, and I must of disturbed it as it bit me right square on my face. The pain was unbearable from the spider bite and since that night I have got my handy little 1 person tent with me, that way I can be assured I don’t have any unwelcome guest during the night.
