This article on registering domain names was submitted to me by one of the readers of this site. It’s good advice and I’d add that getting a trusted domain name is just as important.
Your domain name should, if possible, relate to your business, be short enough to use in ads and be simple enough for peope to remember. It may take some time to find a domain name that you like but doing the research at a domain registrar is quite simple. However it can get time consuming. Take the time to do it right, no matter how long it takes. With the correct domain name you’ll make more money in the long run.

I’ve told you before that in my opinion blogs far outweigh sites as a way of getting highly relevant and on topic links to places where you want them to go. It’s also not to hard to get a high website ranking in the search engine results pages with a blog post.
I’ve mentioned before that I’ve been a webmaster for a long time. Since late 1996 and I got my first domain in 1997. I still have it and it’s now an adult paysite. It’s always been an adult site but I turned it into a large paysite a few years ago because I wanted the recurring revenue for myself.
I was checking the results for some of my adult terms for my websites when I noticed that one of my blog posts was ranking at #6 for a popular and competitive term. No longtail stuff here as it was a two word term and thought to be hard to rank for. If you want to see the adult blog, it does have other things on it besides adult.
